Established in 2009, IIT Indore is one of the newest-generation IITs, yet it has rapidly grown to become a top-tier institution, renowned for its academic rigor, vibrant research ecosystem, and focus on innovation and societal impact. As an Institute of National Importance, IIT Indore has built a dynamic ecosystem that inspires creativity, cultivates critical thinking, and drives innovation. The campus, spanning over 501.42 acres at Simrol, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities like the Maker\u2019s Space and Tinkerer\u2019s Lab.\n\nGuided by the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Institute has embraced progressive teaching methodologies, including Do-It-Yourself (DIY) modules and a flexible Academic Credit Bank System. From just three academic programmes at inception, it has grown to offer 60 diverse programmes spanning engineering, sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary domains.\n\nIIT Indore stands at the forefront of cutting-edge research with over 7,500 international publications, 700 sponsored projects, and more than 90 patents. To accelerate the journey from research to real-world application, the Institute has developed a Translational Research Ecosystem\u2014a dynamic Lab-to-Land model that transforms theoretical innovations into practical technologies.
