About Us
IIT Jammu, established in 2016, is an Institute of National Importance. The campus is spread over 400 acres at the foothills of the Shivalik range in Jagti, Nagrota, near Jammu City. The institute is fully equipped with state-of-the-art academic departments, modern hostels, and high-performance computing facilities like 'Agastya'.\n\nIIT Jammu aims to create a holistic educational ecosystem with a focus on interdisciplinary research and 'learning by doing'.
