About Us
IIT Patna is an Institute of national importance established in 2008. It is situated on the banks of the river Ganges in the ancient city of Patna (Patliputra). The institute operates from its permanent campus of 500 acres in Bihta, inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister. It is among the first IITs to implement the National Education Policy (NEP-2020).
