About Us
The National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur (NIFTEM-T) is a pioneering Research and Educational Institution under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India. Formerly known as Paddy Processing Research Centre (PPRC) and later Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT), it has evolved into a comprehensive academic and research institution.
