About Us
National Institute of Technology Patna, formerly Bihar College of Engineering (established in 1886), was renamed NIT Patna in 2004. It is an Institute of National Importance. The institute is currently expanding to a new 125-acre campus at Bihta, while continuing operations at the historic Ashok Rajpath campus.
