About Us
Tezpur University was established in 1994 by an Act of Parliament as a unitary type, residential Central University. Located at Napaam, about 15 km from Tezpur town, the 262-acre lush green campus offers an excellent ambience for teaching and research. The School of Engineering was established in 2006.
